Eatting less...

I suddenly found myself eating much less than when I just came here...

I m just having a stupid though. Since I come here, I find that people can actually eat a lot... and i can't really understand why we need to eat so much... where are those food gone exactly!!! (seems to be a questiona I should have asked when I was young, huh?)

But i do find it very intersting... If I do not eat on time... I really feel hungry...!!!!! And then I try not to eat as much... and i really feel hungry earlier in the day... I tried to play this with myself day by day... see how much I eat and when would I feel hungry if I eat such amount of food... very moliu but quite fun... :D and I would never have a chance to play this in hk.. coz I dont cook for myself...

The 1/2 bl pasta, I used to finish it in 3 meals.. seems that I can make it 4 or if i have some salad, i can make it even 5 meals now! yup... btw, if I did exercise... during the day... I do need to eat more... it is very interesting!

I am trying to just eat what I need now... unless I feel really hungry... I wouldn't eat more.. On the other hand coz I live with myself and throw my bin by myself... Just find that i am actually making quite a lot of rubbish!! If I eat more... obviously I would have to make more rubbish... coz even i buy food from the most enviormantal friend store now... they still have some plastic bags or containers to place the frash foods... I put most of them on recycle indeed, but who the hell know where are they really going... -_-... um...I guess it is a good start for myself :D hope that I can keep it even when I go back to hk... ^__^

Exciting and annoying

I've had a full sport day on Saturday again :D.... haha dont know how long can I have this kinda life still.... :D

I've sent out my first job application finally... it is a very rough and informal one indeed... in order to try out if my works interesting enough :P And of cause this is not the best one I am looking at... My experience is before I can send my CV to the best I m looking at, I do have to have some rehearsal time :D haha... well, it is the exciting part... the annonying part is coming.. I just can't think of a better way to do my CV cover... Although Stef said he doesnt like this cover too much and maybe I was affected by him too much on it... (coz I did it when I was staying with him...) , I really do not feel comfortable to make up something in a rush to put on my CV... Also, I dont want that oil paint style too domainate my CV.... i know it is already very much... just can't be too much really... um... unless I could find another way to make it nicer... I wouldn't change it in this bunch of applicaitons... but my feeling is... I know there is something not good enough.. and I still send it out ... very annonying...

It is such a great day!

I went to cafe for internet this morning watch some news, had some chats... and I met a lady and chat with her in the cafe... her hasbond is from China... :D super nice person... haha and she is the 4th or 5th person saying I have a nice ascent :D some of them said it's british... but I guess its kinda a mixup really... I didn't have much british friends tho... haha.. anyway and then I headed to UCSB for my sport day today!!! :D haha... I played a bit basketball with a guy and a gal :P they are super nice... and then I went to discover a bit the area around the uni... and I've bought 2 vinyl record from a store for $1 haha... they are a bit squashy tho.... haha 2 for $1...

I had a lunch in the Uni centre... it was redicious! that's almost no food selling during weekends! anyway... the young pretty lady who sell the lunch to me was super nice ^__^ I went to play more basketball after the lunch... :) which is very nice... and I met the guy I played once with him in the outdoor court last month..! and the guy called Peter from Gong Chau was very nice as well... he play basketball every single day!!!! how good is it to be a student! I might go there more often from now on ^__^..... yea...

and after that I went to swim.... but I could only made 250metres... :( I was clonus in the water lerh :S very cham cham... but then I found thats a spa next to the swimming pool!!!!! wao... such a great one at that moment!! :D I gonna fall in love with that sport centre now :D haha...

and when i went home, my luck is not finished yet..!!! haha... Tina just invited me to have the dinner with them!!! :D how great!!!! they made a traditional Vienna dinner!! ^__^ I love it... and I started missing mama's beef belly dish ^__^ ho ho ho~~

The Edge of Heaven (9)

I found that I haven't seen a great movie for soooo long after seeing this :)... seems that my movie luck is coming back :D:D haha... The story is indeed quite complicated but I do like how imdb summerize it - A Turkish man travels to Istanbul to find the daughter of his father's former girlfriend. Well... I think this is the simpliest way to tell about the movie... without telling you too much but interesting enough, huh? :D

I do love the way they shoot the movie a lot... He (Rainer Klausmann) should be one of the best cinematographer in the world :D.. I've seen some familiar scenes in it but can't recall where did I see them but all come together just make a such a good movie!

2nd trip to LA

it's such a great weekend in L.A. :) I went there for the international surf festival!! and there are a lot of things happening over there... just that I couldn't find the surfing competition :P but I do enjoy the beach volley ball tournament!!

It was kinda hazel on sat... it's much worse than what you see on photos :P haha
but ya... it's still nice~~~~




There were like 40-50 courts playing competition!!! and a lot of them are super great! I can't imagine how could they all jump so high on the sand!!!

The Night Knight (7.5)

I just simply love Christian Bale.. :) and it is a reasonable cool Batman movie... not too exciting, not too bad... Just that the theator I went to was the biggest I've even been!!! wao!!!! it was called Metropolitan Arlington Theatre... it is the most classic theator in Santa Barbara... they have lot of decoration around the side... and thats a dark sky with stars shinning on top of the theator!!! how amazing :D:D they do some musicals there sometimes... :D... I am feeling I will go there again soon... when Tracy come I have to go with her :D:D haha... yea...

Yea... the book's been published lo... if you still haven't seen it or you didn't know thats my illustrations throughout the book... haha go to some bookstores and take a look lo ^__^ I do find that book inspirative~~~ and thats my first book illustration :D:D

Super scary LA trip!

Yea~~~~ I made it eventually!!!... I drive all the way to LA and came back safely last night :D:D next time I go, I do have to prepare a bit better :) haha a good sleep... and a lot of music... what happened on my way to LA was... I ALMOST FELT ASLEEP in the freeway!.... and almost crashed on the block whcih separate cars from 2 directions!!!! I was driving in 70miles... !!!! Super scary... wah wah wa... and I do hate dricing automatic car!! it's like a stupid car... reacting a second delay... feeling like I m not actually stepping on the gas pedal... it's like more like a button to tell the car... yea.. I wanna move... and then the car think... oh... ya? okay I let you move... -_-... which takes a second at least... and I drove with the GPS thing... LA is just too big to recog the road I thought... and indeed it is difficult... but it just bored me even more... coz I didn't even need to see the sign... ~_~... the First day was not super smooth... but getting much better in my second day :). I spent most of my time on driving and look for places I've planned to go in the first day...

First I went to Griffith Park Observatory... they said on website, thats the best place to see the hollywood sign..

The second day was super good... !!! slept a lot on sat night :D and hang out wiht Blue, (Henry's flatmate, a Taiwanese) he's quite a nice person... :D:D he treat me breakfast, tea and pay for my gas :D:D haha...

We went to a place where I thought thats a thrift store... but indeed it's a kinda sunday car park market... I've bought 3 cool old CDs and a vinyl!!! :D the guy who works there showed us a way to Old hollywood :) a typical tourise area... very plastic... playing old american music around the area... shops... foods... whatever... I dont hate it... just prefer something else :D

We then tried to find the TBWA cool cool building!! but found that their office moved to a boring building now... :S and we couldnt find the cool one lerh :( anyway... we then head to the Venice Beach!!!! it's a super huge beach! kinda horribly massive... quite difficult to tell form the photos... but anyway... Probably, the biggest beach i've ever been. and we went to surf!!!! yea!!! finally I surf in the State!!! :D:D quite good wave there... I am super no good tho :P with that shorter board which I never try on.. :P stand on it for 2 second I guess...





Hilarious!! the gym by the beach! and the people in the gym are weird as well!!


We had good dinner in this very american restaurant...

Have driven 419 miles in total!!! wao!!! probably more than the total distance I've driven in my life!! the car rental was only US$83.3 :D quite cheap lerh~~~~

Goleta Advanture

It's the first time I try to make a trip with Sui Lee haha... kinda success... not going too far... just somewhere around UCSB, the university (A uni famous on parties) nearby... and it's funny.. coz it's just next to the airport..... is it a little but too close to a uni? -_-...

It's a nice little trip after work again ^__^ haha.. a little bit tired but super good mood!!!!

Haha... so happy to go Kayaking today after work :D ho ho ho... good exercise and super nice view!!! should bring my camera with me next time :D
ho ho ... and this is life... haha... finish work and go Kayaking, and went back home and cook for myself... and everything done... and go on internet... it was only 9:30 pm haha... what a life... woooo...

A break through in my life!

wao... it's such a break through in my life!!! I did my first expenses sheet in my life!!!! haha... I brought my car to repair on Tuesday la.. coz the alternator was gone... :S... which cost me US$244!!! shit!!! and they said I should change my axle!!! which will cost another 300!!! :S ai.... anyway... and I had to wait sth like 2 hrs for that... I went to a cafe (they have free internet wireless!) with my Fufu la... but the internet just not working on Fufu... :( ... Fufu have to be in a super battery save mode coz I forgot to bring his charger... I kinda thinking... ah... I have to get something done without using too much of Fufu's brain... then I start calculate how much I have spent for Sui Lee lo... and then... I start doing it in excel... haha... and thats done in a min.. still have a lot of time to burn ma... how about do an expenses in US? I thought... wah wah wah, kinda organised :D

I m learning

Bad luck is coming to me so often these 2 weeks... after I the ran out of car battery by forgetting turn off front light... got lost in the dark "the door of that gas thing couldn't open with super little gas left!) I've got in serious problem again!!! a pipe of the cooling system was broken... and a lot ofLiquid coolant were leaking like hell, keep evaporating by the burning engine... giving horrible smell and smoke!!! >_<>that some yellow liquid are leaking... how scary... um.. for a new driver >_<

But after all these... I do find myself improving :P hehe... seems that I have better problem solving now :D . Luckily Darius is always here to give me little help... he wouldn't do that for me but at least I would have some guidance... otherwise it could be worse... I used to be super crap... trying to fix everything with paying people to do for me :D haha... seems that it's kinda fun to get things done by myself lerh :D Maybe just that I never have time to sort out these stuff in HK... it is horrible!!! imagine.. after living for some years in your life... and found yourself are very new to your "living"... It sounds a bit stupid to feel happy with this kinda too-late-improvement :P but anyway, it's always good to see some self-improvement :D haha... And I m so glad that I have made my choice to come over US... it's always good to experience something different from the guy next to you.... Thought of a bit more about life... I proud of myself not having a routine life :) The best thing here is I have much more time to think... maybe something little stupid... but really important...

ah.. btw, I found myself able to do Vinyasa (one of the yoga posture I never able to do) haha!!! happy happy day :D~~~~~~
